Thank you Karen Gilligan, Rachel Windham, Cornell Evans, Brittany Tones for the photos

Many thanks to Commissioner Adrian Garcia, Precinct 2, and East Aldine District for their in-kind sponsorship again this year. Trash Bash 2025 would not happen at Crowley Park without the help of their wonderful on-site and office teams.
A special shout-out to Harris County Sheriff's Office, East Aldine Neighborhood Recycling Center, Harris County Emergency Corps,
Brookside Memorial Funeral Home and Harris County MUD 461.
Looking Back at Trash Bash 2024

Trash Bash 2024
Eighty-four volunteers spent a total of 405 hours cleaning trash and tires (and one bicycle!) from Greens Bayou and the JFK retention basin owned by Harris County MUD 461 during Houston-Galveston Area Council's Trash Bash 2024 at W. E. "Bill" Crowley Park this year. Thanks to the support of
Harris County Precinct 2 and East Aldine District, volunteers from Indorama, DHL Express, Sconzo Early College High School, Greens Forest Civic Club, several Scout troops, and lots of individuals and families collected 1600 pounds of trash, tires and landscape waste. Harris County Sheriff Department and Harris County Emergency Corps. were also out to help, and make sure everyone was safe.

Many thanks to Brookside Cemetery and MUD 461 for allowing access, and to our wonderful sponsors: Precinct 2 and East Aldine District! And of course, we are so appreciative of Houston-Galveston Area Council and Texas Conservation Fund for making it all happen and helping us to work together to take care of OUR Bayou!
