Greens Bayou is one of Houston's most valuable natural resources as it serves as an invaluable corridor for floodwater drainage, with numerous new detention basins along its route to the Gulf.  Our bayou also increases the quality of life for the 800,000 plus residents along its watershed as parks and trails are built to connect the  Northwest Houston to Uptown to Downtown to Southeast Houston.  The Coalition is working towards making the Greens Bayou corridor a wonderful, healthy place to live, work and play.
